Siwash Lake Wilderness Resort The private and exclusive Canadian Siwash Lake Wilderness Resort is a family owned working ranch ~ an intimate adventure hideaway in the heart of British Columbia's cowboy country for horseback riding for a maximum of 32 guests. The ranch is surrounded by 80,000 acres of pristine British Columbia wilderness. Wildlife thrives here among natural grasslands, forests, lakes, and rivers. This remarkable, eco-friendly setting provides a refreshing oasis of wilderness solitude, filled with enriching moments for adventurous people who seek the finer things in life. Riding horses is the highlight of a ranch holiday and the ranch has a well-loved and responsive herd available to suit your experience, where you're trying horseback riding for the first time or are a seasoned horseman or woman. Day 1: Vancouver > Sonora Transfer by helicopter to Sonora Resort on beautiful Sonora Island. The island is an absolute jewel amidst the wild beauty and pristine waters of British Columbia's West Coast. After your arrival, get settled and explore the resort before you enjoy a delicious Pacific Northwestern gourmet dinner.
Day 2: Sonora Resort Reconnect with nature at Sonora Resort, set amongst towering trees, picture perfect views and the background music of waves lapping on the shoreline. Take a guided eco-boat tour, see grizzly bears, kayak, go rafting, hike the coastal rainforest or try heli-hiking. Fishing is one of the key experiences at the resort, with heli-fly-fishing, river fly-fishing and salmon fishing available. At the end of the day, why not have your catch prepared by the chef the way you like it.
Day 3: Sonora Resort > Vancouver Take the floatplane or helicopter back to Vancouver. Upon arrival in Vancouver a transfer is included to your downtown hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure.
Day 4: Vancouver > Siwash Lake Wilderness Resort Today transfer from your downtown hotel to Vancouver Airport and fly to Williams Lake. Transfer to the Ranch for a welcome to this private and exclusive family-owned guest ranch - an intimate adventure hideaway in the heart of British Columbia's cowboy country, for horseback riding and outdoor adventures.
Days 5 - 7: Siwash Lake Wilderness Resort Surrounded by 10,000 acres of wilderness, where wildlife thrives among natural grasslands, lakes and rivers, this remarkable setting provides a refreshing oasis of wilderness solitude. Beyond the legendary horseback riding experiences, there are a myriad of privately guided wilderness adventures including fly fishing, marksmanship, wilderness survival, hiking to waterfalls, birding, or simply indulge in a massage or outdoor yoga. Day 8: Siwash Lake Wilderness Resort > Vancouver Transfer to Williams Lake and your flight back to Vancouver.
