The Sun Deck is the ideal place to bask under the sun, read a good book or just gaze at the scenery.
The classy dining room is located on the Main Deck and is surrounded by large windows providing beautiful views of the ports of call while it accommodates all guests at one single seating. Located on the Upper Deck, the outdoor dining area provides beautiful views of the ports of call visited, and meals are served al fresco depending on the weather and the ship location. It accommodates all guests in one single seating and provides a high standard of cuisine, always with some local flavour.

Late afternoon embarkation. Enjoy a welcome dinner before you set sail southward toward the Saloum River Delta.
Day 2 : Djiffer, Senegal > Banjul, the Gambia

Day 3 : Banjul > Abuko Nature Reserves, the Gambia
Banjul is The Gambia’s capital city and gateway to the 700 mile Gambia River. We’ll sail the river this afternoon, but first there is an optional half-day tour of Banjul itself, plus the town of Bakau; known for its kachikally crocodile pool and botanic garden. Mid-afternoon we sail upstream to Tendaba.
Day 4 : Tendaba, the Gambia
From the ship we take motor pirogues to reach Tendaba, our starting point for the morning optional excursion. It is also possible to see hippos, crocodiles, red colobus monkeys, green vervet monkeys and some of The Gambia’s famous birdlife.
Day 6 : Kuntaur > Janjanbureh > Kaur
Optional excursion to Janjanbureh one of the oldest towns of The Gambia, formerly called Georgetown. Later, there is a stop at the mysterious stone circles in Wassu, a megalithic site believed to be a burial ground thousands of years ago. Afternoon sail downstream to Kaur, a small fishing village. Walk around the small community and see how Gambians live today. In the evening we sail downstream towards Banjul.
Day 7 : Kunta Kinteh Island > Banjul
Anchor at St James Island, which was historically an important slave trading post under the British rule in The Gambia and is now UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site. Optional walking tour. Continue the journey to reach Banjul and later in the evening, sail out of the Gambia estuary into the Atlantic Ocean northwards to Dakar.
