Day 1: Portland, Oregon - Embarkation (D) Welcome to Portland! Arriving at the airport, UnCruise representatives are there to greet you for your transfer to our hospitality area in downtown Portland. If time allows, explore the city before setting sail. Champagne and hors d'oeuvres await you on board before sitting down for a sumptuous dinner.

Day 2: Astoria (B,L,D) The Columbia meets the Pacific in the historic seaport of Astoria. Settle in and take a bite. Iconic Pacific Northwest razor clams, oysters, salmon, halibut, Dungeness crab, sturgeon, steelhead, and cod are all harvested here. Test your nose and your palate with whatever is in season and meet one of Astoria's own, Chef Chris Holen, during a food and beverage demo. Chris distills his own spirits and runs several restaurants in town. Wash it all down with a cold one from a local craft brewery, Buoy Beer. Need to move your feet? Hit the Astoria Riverwalk trail and explore bridges and seafaring history along the path of the old Columbia River Railroad. Or, burn some serious calories and climb from sea level to the Astoria Column for stellar views. Back onboard to cruise like the explorers once did, leave the mouth of the Columbia, delving into the heart of the Coastal Range as you wrap up your first big day.

Day 3: Hood River > Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area (B,L,D) Start your day with on deck guided stretches and a hearty breakfast as you pass through the Bonneville Locks. Misty or sunny, it's all epic scenery. Today's focus reflects the agricultural landscape: orchards and vineyards. Meet the owners at Ferment Brewing Company, makers of craft beers and kombucha. The Hood River Valley - ripe for touring and tasting. Back on board, cruise upriver through the Columbia River Gorge's diverse collection of ecosystems. At 80 miles long and up to 4,000 feet deep, this river canyon cuts the only sea level route through the Cascade Mountains.

Day 4: Walla Walla, Washington (B,L,D) Start the day cruising the famed Wallula Gap. Today's theme is all things Walla Walla including nibbles from visits with an olive oil maker, a local chocolatier, and makers of hand-cured meats and sauces. For lunch, try culinary delights that are truly of the area at the historic Gesa Power House Theatre. With local bites come local sips and time to stretch your legs. Tour and taste at family-owned Dunham Cellars. In historic downtown Walla Walla, visit multi-media artist Squire Broel's studio and stroll downtown with your guides where boutique shops and over 30 tasting rooms await. Back on board, trade stories of culture, food, and drink adventures over dinner with your shipmates while cruising the most unique river system in the nation.

Day 5: Red Mountain (B,L,D) A visit to the Walter Clore Wine & Culinary Centre provides palette-pleasing access to Washington and Oregon wine experts. Learn about the diversity of the region's wine and food products, perfect food pairings (including a cooking demo), and sample wines from a featured AVA over lunch. Then it's off to discover the pride of the Red Mountain appellation - the smallest wine-grape growing region of Washington by acreage and known for its critically acclaimed reds. Savor a tour and tasting at the exquisite Terra Blanca Estate Winery & Vineyard. Explore Terra Blanca's rolling vineyards, wine caves, and beautifully manicured estate grounds. Nose and bouquet, balance and finish, legs and body - your wine host and sommelier guide you through an on-board tasting event before dinner.

Day 6: The Dalles, Oregon (B,L,D) Rise above the cliffs that form the Columbia Gorge this morning on a tour of the expansive Maryhill Museum - a castle-like chateau with an eclectic collection of European paintings, Rodin sculptures, Native artifacts, Northwest art, and the Queen of Romania's personal art objects and artifacts. Return to the Legacy for a daylight cruise of the famed Columbia Gorge, and relax over an onboard tasting of locally crafted spirits as you weave into the heart of the Gorge. Watch the land change from desert to temperate rainforest within the span of an hour, taking in all the flavors of the area.

Day 7: Willamette Valley (B,L,D) Rise and shine with hot cup of joe. Your morning features an onboard coffee sampling from a local roaster to complement your pastries and hot breakfast while cruising up the Willamette River. Next up, the Willamette Valley. Oregon's largest AVA is an oenophile's mecca and, like a plump grape, bursting with opportunities to please your palate. Tour and taste at hand-picked, family-owned, boutique wineries. Feel like one of the family while sipping Raptor Ridge's and Archer Vineyards' old-vine varietals and taking in Oregon's Coastal Range. Tonight, pull out all the corks for a wine extravaganza by the city lights of Portland, Oregon. Raise one last glass to toast friendship and wine at the multi-course captain's dinner.

Day 8: Portland, Oregon - Disembark (B) Sated, your week of wineries and river cruising has come to an end. Enjoy breakfast with friends and say farewell to the crew before disembarking for your included transfer to the Portland airport.
