2024 9 Jan: Mumbai, India Embark 1:00pm and settle into your cabin as we sail down the coast to Goa.

10 - 12 Jan: Goa > Mangalore > Cochin Enjoy the marvelous old Portuguese and Hindu city of Goa with its vibrant temples and majestic churches, a taste of Portugal in India. Explore the countryside and its spice farms, local markets and the region's exquisite beaches. Cochin is an eclectic, cosmopolitan city with beautiful colonial architecture.

13 - 14 Jan: The Maldives As the capital of the low-lying, coral-bed Maldives, winsome Malé is surrounded by a sea wall, where you might watch the fishing dhonis return with the day's catch.

15 - 16 Jan: Colombo, Sri Lanka Dotted with stately colonial buildings, Sri Lanka's largest city is quite beautiful and wonderfully frenetic. Explore the museums and temples or watch cricket at Galle Face Green.

17 - 19 Jan: Cruising the Andaman Sea

20 - 22 Jan: Myanmar See Yangon's magnificent Shwedagon Pagoda, a golden shrine towering to a height of 326 feet. Nearby visit the Chaukhtatgyi Pagoda with its reclining 230-foot-long Buddha statue. Rising up from the Royal Lake, Karaweik Hall was built in the shape of the mythical Karaweik bird. The Botahtaung Pagoda was named after the 1,000 military leaders who escorted the sacred hair relics of Buddha, brought from India over 2,000 years ago.

23 Jan: Cruising the Andaman Sea

24 - 26 Jan: Phuket > Penang > Kuala Lumpur Experience the many aspects of beautiful Phuket, from its lush landscape and gorgeous beaches to its 19th century Chinese and Western architecture and stunning temples. In Penang visit a batik factory, a butterfly farm, a mosque, church and Indian temple, or just laze around on the beach. Hike the rainforest and waterfall-clad mountains that form the backdrop to the beautiful sandy beaches on the island known as "The Pearl of the Orient." Spend a day exploring Kuala Lumpur with its soaring Petronas Towers, colonial remnants and bustling markets.

27 - 28 Jan: Singapore This is a city of contrasts, from its old Chinese quarter and colorful Hindu temples to its modern skyscrapers, famous Tiger Balm Gardens and magnificent National Orchid Garden. Stroll along the Esplanade. Take a short cruise along the Singapore River and a tri-shaw ride through town.

29 Jan: Cruising the South China Sea

30 Jan: Muara, Brunei Enjoy a drive through this fascinating city past the beautiful mosques with their glittering domes and minarets and the Sultan's palace, the largest in the world. Visit the Brunei Museum, a repository of Malay culture and priceless Islamic art. Or take a riverboat through the city's canals and experience its daily life. Travel into the countryside to a Dayak village where warriors dance in the longhouse.

31 Jan: Kota Kinabalu, Borneo This bustling, ethnically diverse city boasts a gold-domed mosque and unique high-rise architecture. Kinabalu Park is home to a nature trail with rare plants including beautiful orchids. Or ride Borneo's last train into the lush countryside of farms, water buffalo and villages.

1 - 3 Feb: Puerto Princesa > Coron > Manila (Philippines) Founded as a Spanish naval hub in 1872, Puerto Princesa is emerging as a centre of ecotourism. Marvel at the underground river in a nearby national park, or go zip-lining at Ugong Rock. In contrast, bustling Manila offers the elegant Malacanang Palace, the National Museum and the poignant American Memorial.

4 Feb: Cruising the South China Sea

5 - 8 Feb: Hue > Nha Trang > Saigon (Vietnam) Hue, the former imperial capital on the Perfume River, offers many attractions, including tombs of Nguyen dynasty emperors. Visit the iconic Trang Tien Bridge, which connects the ancient citadel area with Hue across the river, and stroll among the town's colonial-style buildings and outdoor cafés. Nha Trang is renowned for its turquoise waters and sandy beaches, its fishing village alive with activity. Discover Saigon's rich heritage with so much to explore - the Mekong Delta, vibrant markets, the Chu Chi Tunnels and lush countryside.

10 Feb: Sihanoukville, Cambodia Think beaches and snorkeling, as Sihanoukville sits on the beautiful island-studded Bay of Thailand.

11 - 14 Feb: Bangkok > Koh Samui (Thailand) Explore the hidden side of Bangkok, a city of teak mansions and lovely gardens. The massive Royal Palace will impress! Idyllic Koh Samui offers pristine beaches, lush forests and cascading waterfalls.

25 - 27 Feb: Hong Kong Experience old and new Hong Kong with its ultra-modern high-rise buildings beside street markets and lovely temples.

28 - 29 Feb: Kaohsiung > Taipei (Taiwan) The canal-like Love River flows through the heart of Kaohsiung, and a boat ride along its shores reveals the city's beauty. The former British Consulate, built in 1865, is a historic landmark juxtaposed with more modern sites such as the Kaohsiung Museum of Fine Arts. In Taipei visit the Chiang Kai Shek Memorial, tthe fabulous Palace Muesum and fascinating historic sites.

1 Mar: Ishigaki, Japan Discover this remote and picturesque island's lush mountains, beautiful beaches and magnificent coral reef from island viewpoints.

2 Mar: Cruising the South China Sea

3 - 4 Mar: Shanghai, China See the amazing contrasts of this burgeoning city, from the broad European-style Bund to the soaring ultra-modern buildings. Visit the magnificent art museum and the renowned 16th century Yu Yuan Gardens. Enjoy the city by night, see an acrobatic show, browse in local markets or take a trip to one of the famed garden cities of Suzhou or Wuxi.

5 Mar: Cruising the East China Sea

6 - 7 Mar: Kagoshima > Nagasaki (Japan) Visit Kagoshima's exquisite Iso-Teien Garden and its villa, built in 1660, and enjoy its gorgeous views before a short ferry ride to smoking Sakurajima for a close-up view of the volcano and its lava fields. In Nagasaki visit the poignant Peace Park and Atomic Bomb Museum, or experience feudal Japan on the Shimabara Peninsula.

8 - 11 Mar: Seoul > Jeju > Busan (Korea) Discover Seoul's 5,000-year-old heritage amidst its ultra-modern high-rises. Opt to spend a day in the serene atmosphere of a Zen Buddhist temple or tour the DMZ and rediscover the drama of recent history. Jeju Island offers beautiful beaches, lava caves and the beautiful Cheonjiyeon waterfall. Busan bursts with flavour and culture, with many options to explore.

12 - 20 Mar: Kumamoto > Amami Oshima > Okinawa > Kyoto > Shimizu > Tokyo Kumamoto is famed for its beautiful samuari fortress, and Ueki Hot Springs. The largest of Japan's southern islands, Amami Oshima boasts a beautiful coastline and delicious cuisine. Naha is the capital of the Okinawa Prefecture, with a fascinating history, traditional arts and crafts and the beautiful UNESCO World Heritage Site of Nakijin Castle. Kyoto s Japan's old imperial capital, with a rich cultural heritage to explore. In the shadow of Mt Fuji, Shimizu is home to pine groves and spectacular views.

Dazzling cityscapes await in Tokyo, your final port of call. Visit Asakusa for the bright lights, street fairs and Senso-ji Temple; the Tsukiji Market, the largest open-air fish market in the world with on-the-spot sushi; and the Imperial Palace's East Garden for some calm. Spend the evening in the bright, active Ginza District, where the night comes alive.
