Itinerary
Day 1 : Cape Town
On arrival you will be welcomed to Cape Town and take a private transfer to your hotel. This evening explore the vibrant Victoria & Alfred Waterfront at your leisure. Cape Town is one of the most popular destinations in South Africa, offering a combination of out-of-this-world coastal scenery and urban sophistication.
Day 2 : Cape Town
Today you will be exploring famous landmarks in Cape Town and its beautiful and dramatic coastal landscape. Learn about history and iconic buildings as part of a half day city tour. Visit Table Mountain where you can ascend to the top, weather permitting, by the revolving cable car. Here, you will see wildflowers and the famous silver tree, and marvel at a birds-eye view of the city and its beaches. Browse vibrant Greenmarket Square, one of the city’s oldest markets, and take a walk through Company Gardens, established by Dutch settlers in 1652. Stops include the Houses of Parliament, the Castle of Good Hope and the Slave Lodge with its poignant history. Later, visit the colourful Malay Quarter in the predominantly Muslim Bo-Kaap, before returning to your hotel.
Day 3 : Cape Peninsula
After breakfast you will enjoy a full-day excursion to the beautiful Cape Peninsula. Your tour begins with a scenic drive along the Atlantic coast, passing through the cosmopolitan suburbs of Sea Point and Camps Bay with glorious views of the Twelve Apostles, part of the Table Mountain range. From here you will travel to the Cape Point Nature Reserve, comprising over 17,300 acres of indigenous fauna and flora. The tour ends at the beautiful Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, set against the eastern slopes of spectacular Table Mountain.
Day 4 : Cape Town > Greater Kruger Area
After breakfast, fly to Kruger. You will be met and transferred to your private safari lodge for a three-day Kruger safari. Your stay will be in the Greater Kruger area which is made up of various private game reserves that form the unfenced protected wilderness area that lies adjacent to Kruger National Park.
Days 5 & 6 : Greater Kruger Area
Enjoy morning and evening game drives in search of the ‘Big Five’ and a host of other species. The Greater Kruger area is wildlife-rich and you will explore the area on shared safaris within private concessions as well as in the Kruger National Park itself.
NB: Available safari activities do vary based on your accommodation.
Day 7 : Greater Kruger Area > Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe
Enjoy an early game drive before breakfast and check out. Next you will fly from Kruger to Victoria Falls. Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to your Victoria Falls accommodation.
Zimbabwe is a stunning destination renowned for its raw beauty and world class safaris. This landlocked country in southern Africa is known for its reserves and national parks, brimming with natural wonder. Here, you can enjoy deluxe accommodation and exquisite cuisine. The spectacular landscape of this African land shares the Victoria Falls and Zambezi river with its neighbour, Zambia.
Day 8 : Victoria Falls
This morning you will discover why Victoria Falls is one of the seven Natural Wonders of the World. On the Zimbabwean side there are numerous spectacular vantage points along the width of the Falls, and the sight of this astounding gift of nature simply takes your breath away. Walk through the permanent, beautifully misty rain forest that flanks the Falls, stopping to marvel at scenic spots as the cascades plummet to the depths below the Main Falls, Horseshoe Falls, Rainbow Falls, the Boiling Pot, Cataract Island and Livingstone Island.
Return to your hotel and relax before being collected again for your sunset cruise tour.
Day 9 : Victoria Falls > Kasane > Chobe National Park, Botswana
Today you will be met and transferred to your lodge in Chobe National Park, Botswana, via Kasane airstrip.
Chobe National Park is one of the greatest wildlife destinations in Africa, famed for its elephants. On game drives, you may also see many different species of animals including waterbuck, lechwe, puku, giraffe, kudu, roan and sable, impala, warthog, bushbuck, monkeys and baboons, along with the accompanying predators – lion, leopard, hyena and jackal.
Days 10 & 11 : Chobe National Park
Spend time at leisure to enjoy the activities included in your stay. You can choose to just relax and soak in the nature and your beautiful lodge. Game drives, sundowner cruises and fishing excursions are also available.
NB: The available safari activities do vary based on your accommodation.
Day 12 : Chobe National Park > Kasane
Today you will be collected from your lodge and transferred to Kasane Airport, where arrangements conclude.
