Introduction
Immerse yourself in the wilderness of Finnish Lapland and discover Sami culture, history and hospitality at its finest.
Stay in a remote lodge surrounded by snow-covered forests and frozen lakes underneath the glittering aurora borealis.
Itinerary
Day 1 : Ivalo > Nangu
On arrival at Ivalo airport you will be met and transferred to your wilderness hotel. Nangu is the perfect combination of traditional Lappish style and northern luxury. Enjoy the pristine nature and clean air in this unforgettable place with cosy log cabin style accommodation and friendly staff. The adventurous safaris will make sure your Arctic holiday is one to remember.
Day 2 : Nangu
Snowmobiling is the best way to explore the wilderness. After a lesson head out on a safari that will take you into the untouched wilderness.
Day 3 : Nangu
Take a nice gentle snowshoe walk in a beautiful snowy forest while hearing stories about Finnish nature. This evening take an exciting aurora snowmobiling tour around Lake Inari.
Day 4 : Nangu
Spend the day on a husky farm. After being shown how to handle the sleds, head out on a husky safari in the beautiful winter scenery. You will also meet reindeer and learn the way of life in the north.
Day 5 : Nangu > Ivalo
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Ivalo airport.
