We had an absolutely fantastic time, and came back needing a holiday from all the early mornings! We loved the lodges and people in Botswana. So impressed by the Guides and their knowledge. What we saw exceeded our expectations and we also learnt so many fascinating facts. I hadn’t even thought about the birds we might see like a Goliath Heron. At Moremi the staff did a special dinner for us and baked Ben a birthday cake plus sang him Happy Birthday. The sleep out at Okavango was magical – Ben loved the hippos calling and I was enchanted by the bell frogs. Zambezi Grande is a very special place and we were treated like royalty. They organized a beautiful surprise morning tea on safari for my birthday and then birthday cake and singing in the evening. Having our washing done for us made a huge difference – we had less than 12kg of luggage each. You did a brilliant job organizing what we asked for and exceeding our expectations.
