Itinerary
Day 1 : Santiago
Arrive in Santiago where you will be met by your English-speaking guide and transferred to your hotel.
Day 2 : Santiago
Your tour starts in Santiago’s historic centre, highlighting the Plaza de Armas, the city’s focal point and historical origin. Notable landmarks include the Metropolitan Cathedral, blending Bavarian and neoclassical styles from colonial times. Moving through the civic district, visit the Palacio de la Moneda, witness to pivotal events in the republic’s history. Exploring affluent neighbourhoods reveals diverse architectural influences, shaped by European immigrants during a period of mining prosperity and aristocracy.
Enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view from a city hill, offering glimpses of surrounding mountain slopes, followed by a visit to the western area, showcasing stark architectural contrasts. Santiago’s contemporary allure shines through daring architectural styles, reflecting the city’s thriving modernity and innovation.
Day 3 : Santiago > Casablanca Valley > Valparaiso & Vina del Mar > Santiago
Embark from your hotel to the Casablanca Valley, just 80 km from Santiago and 41 km from the coast, renowned for its Sauvignon Blanc production. Your visit to Casas del Bosque Vineyard highlights their dedication to quality wine making and innovation. Their expansive vineyards benefit from coastal influences, ideal for grapes like Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Syrah. Notably, the winery prioritizes sustainable practices, preserving the valley’s beauty while crafting exceptional wines.
Following the tour and tasting, indulge in lunch at Casas del Bosque before your journey continues to Valparaiso, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Famous for vibrant hillside constructions, it defines the city’s unique architectural identity. You will explore its main attractions before heading to Vina del Mar, “The Garden City,” famed for its stunning beaches, gardens, and pathways. Take in the ocean’s serenity before your return to Santiago.
