Introduction
The Atacama is one of the driest, most beautiful and serene deserts on earth.
In some places, rain has not touched the earth for the past 300 years. There are lunar-landscape canyons, lush valleys, huge salt pans literally filled with flamingos.
Stay at the luxury boutique Tierra Atacama Hotel and spa located on the edge of San Pedro de Atacama. The hotel offers fine dining with an open bar, an amazing selection of included sightseeing activities and world-class spa facilities. All rooms have private terraces and wonderful view of the Licancabur Volcano. The interior decoration is casually elegant and features unique hand-made textiles and crafts sourced from local villages that provide authentic desert cultural pieces in each room.
Daily excursions and activities at Tierra Atacama include treks on foot and by 4WD, birdwatching and cultural visits. A range of “Ancestral” excursions allows a glimpse of life in the local communities with their rich heritage of traditions.
Itinerary
3 Night Itinerary
Day 1 : Calama > San Pedro de Atacama
You will be met at Calama Airport and transferred to your hotel in San Pedro de Atacama. The rest of the day is yours to spend at leisure to enjoy your wonderful hotel and surroundings.
Days 2 & 3 : San Pedro de Atacama
Spend your two days trekking, bird watching, on 4WD excursions to hot springs, salt flats and geysers and cultural visits (all included). Should you choose to stay 4 nights, enjoy another day of activities. You can also choose to simply relax in your luxury boutique hotel, Tierra Atacama Hotel and Spa which offers fine dining and world-class spa facilities. All rooms have private terraces and wonderful views of the Licancabur Volcano.
Day 4 : Depart San Pedro de Atacama > Calama
Transfer to Calama Airport for your departure flight.
