With a continental climate is best to choose when to go depending on the activities and experiences you are planning. We recommend visiting Kazakhstan between May-June and September-October when temperatures are mild and low crowds, perfect to experience the outdoors. Spring season (April – May) brings tulips fields and lush green pastures. June and August is hiking season with mountains passes near Tian Shan mountain range clear from snow. Lastly, November to March, winter season is when the country experiences extreme low temperatures (-40°C to -45°C).

Cultural aspects: activities and festivals featuring horses and the golden eagle are very popular in Kazakhstan, as well as in most parts of Asia and Central Asia. The Nauryz festival celebrates the spring equinox and the Persian New Year, and it showcase culinary, traditional crafts, performances, music and games.
