Osh: Located in the fertile Fergana Valley, it has a distinctly Central Asian character and is a wonderful place to see day-to-day life.
The country has four distinct seasons that vary depending on altitude. We recommend visiting Kyrgyzstan during summer (June-August) when the weather is warm, making it perfect for a traditional yurt stay. Autumn (late September-November) provides crisp and dry temperatures early on. This is also when beautiful red and yellow fall foliage fills the valleys and perfect season to enjoy fresh fruits and vegetables. Avoid winter (December-February) as temperature drop drastically and most high mountain passes are closed.
