Denmark combines elegant cities, historic towns, dramatic coastlines and a strong connection to the sea, with a distinctly relaxed approach to everyday life.
Beyond Copenhagen’s design, food and cultural scene, the country offers charming villages, royal palaces, Viking heritage and wide beaches – making Denmark an easy country to explore while still offering plenty of unexpected discoveries.

Denmark has a cool maritime climate, with relatively mild winters and comfortable but changeable summers. We recommend visiting between May and September, when days are long and temperatures are generally pleasant for exploring cities, cycling and enjoying the coastline. June to August is the warmest period and brings Denmark’s famous long summer evenings. Spring and early autumn are quieter, with cooler temperatures and changing landscapes, while November to March is cold and darker but can be rewarding for museums, food, design and cosy Danish experiences.
