Check in and rest at the hotel before enjoying your pre-arranged dinner at one of the city’s most iconic restaurants. Indulge in a delectable 5-course set menu that showcases the finest Faroese ingredients. Every course tells the story of the Faroe Island’s rich culinary heritage.
Day 2 : Torshavn
After breakfast join a small group for a guided walking tour. Your local guide will lead you through the charming streets of Torshavn, sharing captivating stories about its Viking heritage, unique architecture, and vibrant modern life. Explore hidden gems, including colourful houses, the picturesque harbour, landmarks such as Tórshavn Cathedral, and ancient fortifications. In the afternoon, enjoy time for exploring on your own.
Day 3 : Torshavn > Streymoy & Eysturoy Islands > Torshavn
Today self-explore at your own pace the islands of Streymoy and Eysturoy. Visit the charming mountain village of Dúvugarðar before continuing to Tjørnuvík, with a stop at the stunning Fossá waterfall. Upon arriving on Eysturoy, take in the breathtaking view from the road near Slættaratindur, the highest mountain in the Faroe Islands, and admire the winding path to Funningur. Your final stop will be the tranquil and picturesque village of Gjógv, located on the northernmost tip of Eysturoy. The village is named after its striking 200-metre-long gorge that leads to the sea. At the end of this incredible day exploring some of the islands’ hidden gems, return to Tórshavn.
Day 4 : Torshavn > Vestmanna > Torshavn
Today you will get picked up and driven to experience a summer adventure in the Faroe Islands as part of a group tour. Get ready for an adrenaline-filled journey to the spectacular Vestmanna Sea Cliffs, one of the islands’ most awe-inspiring natural wonders. Hop on a boat and cruise through towering cliffs that rise dramatically from the ocean, passing hidden caves, cascading waterfalls, and colonies of seabirds. The sheer scale and breathtaking beauty of the cliffs are guaranteed to leave you in awe. Return to Torshavn after the tour.
Day 5 : Torshavn > Northern Islands > Torshavn
Today you will enjoy another day of self-exploration, this time traversing the Northern Islands. Start your day by visiting the wonderful island of Borðoy, where you will explore Klaksvík, the heart of the fishing industry in the Faroe Islands. You can also explore the remote village of Kunoy and drive north to the picturesque Viðareiði. There will be plenty of opportunities for pit stops at the many breathtaking viewpoints of the mountains. On the way back to Tórshavn, drive through the fascinating underwater tunnel where local artist Tróndur Patursson has decorated the roundabout.
Day 6 : Torshavn > Mykines Island > Torshavn
Self-drive through an undersea tunnel to the port of Sørvágur on Vágar Island, where a scenic ferry trip awaits, passing dramatic cliffs on the way to the remote and breathtaking Mykines Island. Upon arrival, enjoy a short break at the cosy village café before beginning a guided hike. The trail leads uphill to a memorial for those lost at sea, offering sweeping views of the Atlantic. Mykines is famous for its untouched beauty and thriving birdlife. It is home to the Faroe Islands’ largest puffin colony, protected through active conservation efforts. During nesting season, you will likely see breeding pairs up close, an unforgettable sight made possible by the island’s careful environmental stewardship. The hike also reveals panoramic coastal vistas, sea stacks, and the island’s iconic lighthouse at Mykineshólmur. Ideal for nature lovers, birdwatchers, and photographers, Mykines offers an extraordinary blend of serenity, wildlife, and raw natural beauty.
NB: The timing of and/or Mykines Island inclusions may be modified based on weather conditions or puffin conservation efforts
Day 7 : Torshavn
