Immerse yourself in fascinating cultures, wonderful cuisine and eclectic architecture as you explore the lesser visited gems of Serbia, North Macedonia, Albania and Montenegro, ending in Dubrovnik, Croatia.
Itinerary
Day 1 : Belgrade
Arrive in Belgrade, once the capital of the former republic of Yugoslavia. Private arrival transfer and overnight.
Day 2 : Belgrade > Novi Sad > Belgrade
Enjoy a stroll along the Knez Mihailov boulevard and visit one of the numerous museums. In your free time, have a drink on one of the rafts docked on the Danube river. After your city tour, your local guide will escort you to the city of Novi Sad, the capital of the autonomous province of Vojvodina. Overnight in Belgrade.
Day 3 : Belgrade > Skopje
Today leave Belgrade and head to Skopje, Macedonia’s largest city. Visit the Mustafa Pasha mosque and Mother Teresa house during the city tour with your local guide. Overnight in Skopje.
Day 4 : Skopje > Ohrid
After breakfast, depart for the lakeside resort of Ohrid. Upon arrival, meet with your local guide for a walk through the cobblestone streets of the old town. Visit the Church of St Sofia and St Naum Monastery, notable for its gold plated icons. Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight in Ohrid.
Day 5 : Ohrid > Tirana
Today travel to Tirana for a walking tour, seeing the Skanderbeg Square, the Mosque of Et’hemBey, the clock tower, the statue of G. K. Skanderbeg and the Palace of Culture. You will also visit the National History Museum with a mosaic on its facade portraying Albanian history. Overnight in Tirana.
Day 6 : Tirana > Kruje > Budva
Today stop in Kruje on the way to Budva, a small coastal town in Montenegro. This afternoon explore the city with your local guide. Overnight in Budva.
Day 7 : Budva > Kotor > Dubrovnik
The first stop today will be Kotor, where your city tour will take you past the Maritime Museum, the Cathedral of St Triphon and the church of St Nicholas. The next stop will be Perast, where you will visit a small island with a church dedicated to Our Lady of the Rocks. Arrive in Dubrovnik late in the afternoon for overnight.
Day 8 : Dubrovnik
A free day to explore Dubrovnik.
Day 9 : Dubrovnik
Arrangements end with a private transfer to Dubrovnik port or airport.
