Introduction
Combine the Okavango Delta with another exceptional safari destination, the Linyanti Wildlife Reserve.
Elephants are the prime attraction, although all kinds of antelope, lion, leopard, cheetah and wild dog also inhabit the area. Classic camps offer an engaging safari experience in wilderness areas. Enjoy a relaxed atmosphere with activities such as game drives, nature walks, boating and mokoro excursions.
Itinerary
Days 1 – 4 : Maun > Okavango Delta
Fly from Maun by light aircraft into the Okavango Delta. Spend four nights at 2 different Wilderness Camps in the Delta – Kwetsani Camp and Qorokwe Camp. Upgrade options are available. Spend your time exploring magical waterways by mokoro (dugout canoe), motorised boats and customized 4×4 vehicles.
Days 5 – 7 : Okavango Delta > Linyanti Wildlife Reserve
Light aircraft transfer to Savuti Camp in the Linyanti for three nights. Activities include game drives in open 4×4 vehicles, boating, fishing, bird watching, viewing game from special “hides” in the bush and walking safaris.
Day 8 : Linyanti > Maun
Light aircraft transfer to Maun.
